Marketing Executive
Highway Care is a leading supplier and installer of specialist highway and security vehicle restraint systems. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our team. Permanent, full-time, hybrid based role
Salary: £25k -£35k annual salary (salary dependent on applicant’s qualifications)
Key Role Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
- Collaborate with the Head of Communications and Marketing to create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that align with company goals and objectives.
- Utilise market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and opportunities for growth, working closely with the Business Development Managers.
Content Creation and Management:
- Generate engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email, and other platforms.
- Build a personal brand to reflect you as an ambassador of the industry and Highway Care.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content that resonates with our target audiences.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of digital campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
Brand Management:
- Safeguard and enhance the company’s brand identity through consistent messaging and visual elements across all marketing materials.
- Ensuring the website content is kept current and correct for visitors.
- Collaborate with design agency to create visually appealing and cohesive brand assets.
Event Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and execute marketing events, product launches, and promotions to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events including large exhibitions, smaller indoor stands and external showcase opportunities.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, lead analysis, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of changes in the market landscape.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Regularly analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.










Essential Skills, Competencies, Qualifications and Behaviours
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Non-essential:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience in the construction or highways industries.
